What you need to consider here is this; which is more important right now? (a.) To be concerned about getting proper nutrition or (b.) To device methods to keep what you have eaten down or inside you? Well, I am guessing you have figured that option (b.) is the right and most logically correct choice. Anyhow, you should eat foods like potato chips or salty crackers which will help settle you stomach and stop the nausea.
Strategy #2 - Eat Small Meals…
To successfully combat the nausea, you need to split your large meals into smaller ones. While you may be unable to keep your food down, you must realize that you need to keep up your energy levels; to achieve this, you should ensure that you take a few bites at a time and not rush you meal. Your body should be able to handle smaller meals better than it would meals that are larger; you should go for about six smaller meals a day instead of the normal three large ones.
Strategy #3 - Eat A Light Snack…
If your morning sickness occurs mostly during the morning time (ironically not all morning sicknesses occur in the morning time - gist for another day), you should endeavor to keep a light snack by your bedside at night before going to bed so that you can munch on it first thing in the morning before you get up from the bed. This snack should be something light like crackers or rice cakes. This will help you prepare for the day and stave off the nausea.
Strategy #4 - Eat Plenty of Fruit…
To deal with nausea during pregnancy, you should aim to eat a lot of fruits. Examples of these fruits include, but are not limited to, the following; bananas, apples, watermelon, pineapples, and so on. You may suck on the juice of an orange or lemon if the thought of eating fruits is too much to handle at the moment.
Strategy #5 - Ginger…
Ginger is a type of natural root that contains properties that can calm your stomach and stave off nausea.
